This story was born from a place of grief, love, and one wish: that every tender heart could know it was never meant to face the river alone.
Austin cared deeply about the world. He noticed unfairness. He fought for the underdog. He wanted wrong things made right. Sometimes the current of the world can feel too overwhelming for one heart to change alone.
But we are not meant to change the course of the world alone.
This book is for every child, every parent, every friend, and every worn-out stone who has ever wondered, "What difference can I make?" or thought, "Someone should do something."
The answer is you can make a difference.
The answer is to find another, join hands, and begin.
